KanRead is a collaborative programming event in which the libraries of the KanShare consortium select a collection of stories or a theme and offer programming events for patrons!

This year's KanRead event is from August 18 - October 18 and focuses on legends and folklore!

Any adult 18+ is invited to participate in KanRead 2025!

Step 1:  Patrons are invited to pick up a brochure or visit the library websites below to view all of the upcoming events!

Step 2: Attend as many KanRead events as you like. Keep in mind that many events require prior registration. At each event, the hosting library will offer a special giveaway. The more events you attend, the more likely you are to win a prize!

Certain events require registration, and you will need to contact that specific library to register.
