Derby Public Library has a vibrant and lively dedicated Teen Scene that's a great place to hang out during the summer months! The area features computers for public use, plenty of comfortable seating, and a selection of board games and card games for teens to use in-house.
Teen Tuesday Fall 2019 Programs
6th-12th grade teens are welcome to attend our weekly after school Teen Tuesday events. All programs are from 4pm - 5pm in the Community Room. No Registration Required. Snacks will be provided.

Join the library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) to contribute ideas for future programs, film commercials, record podcasts, share your opinions on books, and gain leadership experience to include in resumes and college applications! We are also in the process of creating a TAB Talk Show! To participate, join us for our first TAB Meeting on Tuesday, September 24 from 5pm - 6pm in the Frank Fanning Room.
Saturday, September 28 from 2PM - 3PM - No Registration Required
Teens and adults are invited to this yoga class inspired by the Wizarding World. Yogis will practice an all-levels flow sequence using wands and incorporating elements of JK Rowling's magical universe. This class is instructed by a 200-HR Registered Yoga Teacher, and treats will be offered after class.
