The library is closed for most federal holidays. Because we are open seven days a week, we normally observe those holidays on the actual date, not necessarily on the day that it may be observed by banks or government agencies.

The library may close in cases of inclement weather. In the case of a closure, an alert will be available on our website and through our social media pages. You may also call the library directly at 316-788-0760 to verify whether the library is open.

The library may remain open even if Derby Schools (USD 260) cancels classes.
